Is Internet Connectivity required 24*7 to use the App?

No, it is not required. Once you download the latest update sent by school, you can disconnect internet

What is the Security Code?

Security code is a unique identification for your school, you will get this security code from School or from Rubix108 team.

Can I communicate with school regarding any query?

No, currently this facility is not available for parents all information is view only. We have Appointment option through that you can fix appointment with school.

Is it possible to download images in my mobile from media section?

No, all media uploaded y school is view only you can’t download the same.

Is school study material available on Rubix Total app?

No, currently there is no any separate provision for uploading the study material for students, but school can use Notice option to provide reference URL for any attached document to help student.

Is it possible to download Report card of student using Rubix Total app?

Yes, if school is using report card module to generate cards then it is possible to view Report Card on mobile app under Review menu.

What about the Non-Android mobile user, how they can updated?

School can send the simple text SMS to Non-Android mobile users using web application

Can I see the all details of both Childs in one mobile, which are studying in same school?

Yes, Siblings are automatically managed in single login if the same mobile given for both students otherwise you can use the Add Student functionality.

I am trying to sync but it is showing message “Sync failed”

There are two possibilities- i) if user id & password is not matching with system  ii) If Network is weak

Is it necessary to Sign up for login into App?

No. You can chose to directly input your User id i.e. mobile no. & Password

. I do not have android phone or smart phone, shall I use web login or any other medium to view child information?

You can’t access the App on the web.

Why it shows 'No record found' after click on any of the icon?

If  school has not shared any information then in that case it shows this message.

Can I change the given Username and Password?

You can not change the username & Password from the App. You will need to contact your School/Rubix108 for the same.

I have two children in the same school but I can only view information about one children, how do I get second child in app (How to add siblings)?

There is ‘+’ sign on your App. Please touch the sign then system will ask school security code. Enter school security code, user name & Password (i.e. your mobile no.). If you do not remember which no. you have provide in school then try both no. or contact school admin Or Contact Rubix help desk

Can we use two different mobile no. to login into the App? Can I login in to multiple smart phones with same Username and Password?

No, Only one registered mobile no. can be used as a user name & Password. You can use same no. to login into both parents mobile/ multiple smart phones.

How to allow permission if my Android Version is above 6.0 (Marshmallow)?

Go to App Setting->Select Rubix app->Select App Permission->Allow

How to use app if my Android Version is 6.0 (Marshmallow)?

For this Android Version you have to allow permission for “Rubix Total App”. You need to allow permission for Camera, SMS, Location, Storage and Telephone.

Can I update my profile information using the Rubix Total App?

You can update student and parent profile information from the Rubix Total App. The same needs to be approved by school admin after verification

From where to download Rubix Total App?

Go to play store (in android mobile) or go to iTunes (in IOS mobile). Search Rubix Total App and download like other Apps.

I do not have Android Phone. Can I use App on iphone or Windows phone

You can download “ Rubix Total” on iphone but we do not support Windows phone right now. In future will provide solution for windows.

I have downloaded attachment but it is showing message” Application not found to open a file”

Please download supporting app like WPS office & Image viewer.So that you can view downloaded file from App.

When I open play store, it is asking to create Gmail account

Play store is a place made available from Google. It is a must to create a Gmail account first then only any App can be downloaded from the play store

After download completed around 80%, download fails. Is there any error in this app?

It means phone memory is full and need to clear some data then only it will be download completely

After a successful download, I am not able to login. What to do?

Either parent is trying with some other mobile number or registered mobile number is wrong. You need to check your school admin office for the correct number registered with them

After successful download, I am not able to login. Showing incorrect user name or password message?

This is because there are some default setting in your phone. You will need to provide full permission to Rubix Total app from mobile settings: App Manager Section.

I have 2 children, one in class 3rd and one in class 6th but only class 3rd child is showing. Why not class 6th child.

This may be because 2 different mobile numbers would be registered with the school for both your children. You can approach the school administrator or call on Rubix helpline at +917219108108, they will map both the children on the same mobile number

I don’t have android or IOS mobile. But I have windows mobile.

Presently the app is not avialble on windows platform. At present, android and IOS versions are ONLY available.

After login: what information I will see in this app.

You can see your child’s attendance, his/her time table, holiday calendar, events, notices, provided homework, media files, fee payment information, etc

Will I get updated information on daily basis?

Yes, but you will need internet access wither on your mobile data or Wi-fi

School’s uploaded calendar or any uploaded PDF is not downloading

You need to install some other supporting software also to download and view files. Like for PDF, you need to install acrobat reader.

How I can give feedback to school or register any complain?

Can I see other parent’s child information on my mobile?

No. You can see only your child/children details. Your login will be fixed into your mobile after login.
